They say she got a beautiful face,

Her heart too innocent, too gullible.

So she let them see and fill the empty space

But they only left her in pain, in fear, strangled.

They thought her kindness is a sign of weakness,

They acted like nothing happened after they made fun of her

Grudge started to pile when they keep on abusing her silence

They did not see nor hear her cry every night in terror.

She caught the eyes of a girl in a mirror

She did not recognize herself 'cause the light was gone

She tried to scream at her reflection hoping tears would out-pour

Her head spins, throat tightens but tears did not come.

I guess they made her feel numb

I guess it was her fault too

She let them treat her like a dumb

She's dying inside, and no one else knew.

She tried to paint her canvas white

While they splash it with red and blue.

Some turned black, those hidden from the light

Just pray it won't consume her soon.
